Sicon, founded in the county of Messina, began the production of PET preforms for the drinks
and mineral water market in 1983, gaining a great deal of experience in the sector.
From 2001 to 2008 Sicon was a shareholder, with a minority stake, in the share capital of Socib (bottler of
The Coca-Cola Company) with involvement in production and distribution operations.
From 2008 onwards, a new transformation process begins for Sicon dedicating production to preforms only.
Huge investments are made to increase production and bring it to the highest quality levels.
Sicon today produces 800 million preforms per year with a diversified customer portfolio.
